Research

Vida Khalili focuses on materials science research on biomedical issues. She originally came to the Chair for Materials Science and Engineering (LWW) as an AvH scholarship recipient to work on NiTi and Mg alloys for biomedical applications. She was particularly interested in the application of coatings to improve biocompatibility. She collaborated with physicians and international researchers such as Professor Boccaccini from FAU Erlangen. Now, she is part of the research project "Automorph", which is funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
